POLYTONGUE ACADEMY SAS is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy sets forth our current privacy practices with respect to information we collect when you interact with www.polytongue-academy.com. By accessing our website, you consent to the manner in which information is collected and used, as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information we collect, how we use it and why.
When a user registers for a free trial session, we are required to request and store the user’s email address and other relevant information. This is because the user needs to receive email communications in relation to the trial session and the teacher needs to know certain things in order to provide the service. The information required at this stage is: Name, email address, age range, estimated language level and motivation. The user can also optionally provide their phone number and the communication service ID to improve communication and receive reminders of sessions. If the user chooses to take lessons without a trial session, the only information required is email and full name.
The above data is stored in order to 1) allow for the scheduling of lessons and trial sessions, 2) allow teachers to deliver their services, and 3) allow our technical support team to resolve any issues. Data is stored in our data base, and we respect GDPR. Data may occasionally be shared with teachers by email if you book a lesson with them and they do not have your information. Our teachers agree to cover data privacy.
If you would like access or delete to any stored information or for us to remove your information from our systems, you can contact us at contact@polytongue-academy.com.
After users sign up for a trial session, they may receive emails related to their request. Users may also receive occasional emails about updates and special offers. Users may opt-out of receiving emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link in emails received.
We will not disclose the personally identifiable information we collect from you to third parties (other than POLYTONGUE ACADEMY SAS guardians).
